Designed for indoor location, Cooling Technology’s LPCA Series is a turnkey indoor air-cooled chiller that comes complete with an integrated pump/tank. At dimensions as small as 30”Wx39”Lx61.5”H, the LPCA Series can fit into virtually any small space!
Features
- Highly-efficient Type 316 stainless steel plate evaporator, featuring ridged patterns that are brazed together to form two separate channel systems, allowing the refrigerant and fluid to flow in counter directions.
- Reducing refrigerant requirements, a brazed plate design allows for closer approach temperatures and more efficient heat transfer than shell and tube models.
- An inline strainer with removable stainless steel screen protects the evaporator from contamination.
A vented insulated tank features sight glass, drain and make-up connection. - All electrical components are mounted in a NEMA 4 electrical panel that is professionally wired and numbered to correspond with the schematic.
- Completely insulated with closed cell foam, our design approach conserves energy.
- Depending on cooling requirements and refrigerant type, Cooling Technology selects the best available scroll, reciprocating or screw compressor.
- The LPCA Series is constructed with non-ferrous piping to ensure clean process water and a corrosion-free environment.
- To monitor and regulate system temperature, the LPCA Series uses a electronic temperature controller that displays both set point and actual fluid temperature.
- Other standard controls and indicators include power, pump, compressor and no flow.
- An end-suction stainless steel centrifugal pump – trimmed with a discharge throttling valve to permit adjustment of flow rate – features a closed-couple TEFC motor and provides high fluid flow at high pressure.
- A liquid-filled pressure gauge offers reliable pump pressure readings without fluctuations.
- Swivel casters .that enable you to easily move the unit.
